First For Hunters

We are the single most powerful, most influential hunters rights and conservation organization in the world.

LOOKING FORWARD

This year will be both challenging and exciting for us here at Western Montana Chapter of Safari Club International. We’ll be preparing for a long-term future and creating a plan for projects across a wide spectrum of objectives and activities.

We envision a future of better collaboration with our members and we’ll be addressing the issues that matter most, to all of us. Wildlife Conservation, Hunting Rights, Education and Advocacy are the key priorities for our Chapter…

ABOUT US

We are a 501(c)4 organization. The Western Montana Chapter of SCI has funded wildlife conservation, hunter education and youth programs for over 15 years. It’s through your generous support and donations that we’re able to continue our work. Our focus is aimed at hunters rights and wildlife conservation here in Montana.

The preservation of animals and protecting our right to hunt, is the duty of every man and women who care about our future. If we don’t start now it will be too late. We must use all means available to us for preservation, education, legislation and advocacy.

The road is not going to be easy. We can’t win with a subtle approach or with appeals to common sensibility. There are too many who fail to see the beauty and enrichment of nature and freedom. We have to make noise to be noticed using facts and statistics that are irrefutable.

It is a fact that the future welfare of our generations depend on what we do now. Preservation of wild animals must be protected against the selfish, ignorant and commercial interest of uncaring men.

We must view nature as a treasure that is priceless and something we hold in trust. Our world would be a dark place without the beauty and wildlife found in wild America and across the world.

Except for designated Conservation areas, large swaths of land are being expanded for more development as they further encroach upon wildlife habitat. This is not being done by foolish men but by educated civilized man. They continue to destroy forests and pollute rivers and streams threatening more and more wildlife.

As Americans, we must lead the charge in building a better future for our children and grandchildren. The tide is turning but we must continue to fight for what we know is good and right. Yet we are far from the goals we have set for ourselves. Through legislation and political action we are getting our voices heard and we are growing stronger.

The Western Montana Chapter of Safari Club International in cooperation with many other organizations will forever work towards our goal to protect wildlife, protect responsible, sustainable hunting and fight for your rights as hunters.
